Workshop Overview

Knit Club In The City takes workshops into work places, including schools and community organisations.

We will construct a bespoke programme to fit your needs

One off / Day events

Well-being weekly lunchtime sessions

Parent groups

Pregnancy classes

After school clubs

Often participants can progress to knit larger projects such as cushion covers, hats, large scarves, baby blankets and throws

Other courses have as their focus a large collaborative project as the ultimate goal such as an installation, to which everyone contributes, whilst learning all the above.

COURSES FOR MORE EXPERIENCED KNITTERS CAN ALSO INCLUDE:

More complex garments such as jumpers, ponchos

Knitting with more unconventional ‘yarn’ like string, bamboo, cotton, even   strips of plastic, metal wire or old pieces of sheeting

Designing your own creative projects
