WHAT WE DO

Knit Club has been running these workshops for the last 5 years offering a fun, creative experience at our sessions in the workplace, including schools and community organisations.

This bespoke programme includes - one-off day events, regular well-being weekly workshops, parent groups, pregnancy classes, and afterschool classes

What we create ....this can be anything from simple child-friendly knitting projects through to creating more complex and challenging garments for grown-ups and community installations.

Where - we’re flexible. Courses can take place at your workplace, your community centre, school or wherever works best. In short, we come to you.

Hi, I’m Penny Verry. Knitting worked its magic on me at an early age despite an unsuccessful beginning with a square that turned out to be a trapezium with very slopey sides aged 8. A couple of years after the square that wasn’t a square was followed by a V-necked jumper and that was that - I was smitten. Many pairs of fingerless mitts, scarves, hats, Aran knits, hooded jumpers, Christmas stockings and blankets of all sizes later ... here I am with a passion to share the magic!

Originally from an Advertising and Research consultancy background which involved facilitating creative corporate workshops, I have also worked as a Primary school teacher in Walworth, South London. Since 2013 I have been working with adults, teenagers, and children running knitting workshops.

Our team includes wide teaching, knitting, workshop, and artistic experience from the commercial, creative and educational world.
